Biographical InformationBigelow & Wadsworth was a Boston-based architecture firm founded by Henry Forbes Bigelow and Philip Wadsworth in 1909. The firm was active under this name until 1928.

Bigelow & Wadworth was a successor to the firm Bradlee, Winslow, and Wetherell which became known as Wilson and Wetherell after the death of Nathaniel J. Bradlee in 1888. It then became Winslow, Wetherell, and Bigelow until George Wetherell left the firm in 1901 and it was known as Winslow & Bigelow until 1909 when Walter Winslow died and Philip Wadsworth became Henry Bigelow's partner to form the firm Bigelow & Wadsworth.
