Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its function.Historical NotesThe Petersham Country Club opened in 1922 and acquired by Harvard in 2013. The Harvard Forest is comprised of approximately 4,000 acres of land in Petersham, Massachusetts. The Forest houses research facilities and other educational facilities like the Fisher Museum, which is open to the public. The Farm Cape House was demolished in 2019.
