Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Richard Bryant, a long time friend of the Harvard Forest.Historical NotesThe farm house and 3 outbuildings sit on 8 acres of farmland which was originally a portion of Lot 28 of the Nichewaug Proprietorship in 1733. The land was sold to Jonathan Marble in 1744 and the original house was built. The property changed hands only twice thereafter and was acquired by Harvard in 2008.
