Site Name HistoryThe site is named for its address.Historical NotesLittle is known about the building which was located at 40 Wigglesworth Street. In the early twentieth century it housed the On-Shore Department of the Boston Floating Hospital. The building was eventually razed to allow for the development of the Harvard University, Longwood Campus.
