Site Name HistoryThe site is named for Reverend George Lyman Paine who donated the house to Harvard.Historical NotesPaine House was donated by Rev. George Lyman Paine in the late 1950s. The house, located on Sutton Island near Bar Harbor, served as a summer vacation rental for Harvard faculty. The property was sold in 2007.
