Site Name HistoryThe site is named after New York banker John Pierpont "J.P." Morgan (LL.D. 1910), at the request of George F. Baker, a business associate and close friend.Historical NotesMorgan Hall is one of the earliest buildings on the Harvard Business School campus. It was a gift of George Fisher Baker. It was designed by McKim Mead and White of New York City and completed in 1928. Today it contains faculty and administrative offices.
