Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its address.Historical NotesHarvard acquired the Beckwith Circle Complex in 1973. A major renovation project in 1983 caused a student protest due to the timing of the renovations by residents of Beckwith Circle. A renovation project to improve room space took place in 1999. The city of Somerville planned a sidewalk and street improvement project near the complex in 2015 and 2016. The Beckwith Circle Complex is used for housing for full time graduate students.
