Site Name HistoryThe site is named for Francois-Xavier Bagnoud, a helicopter pilot who specialized in rescue operations, and namesake of FXB International, a non-governmental organization that funds childhood AIDS relief efforts. Historical NotesThe F.X. Bagnoud Building was designed for the Harvard School of Public Health by the architecture firm Payette of Boston. It opened in 1996. Funding was provided by the FXB Foundation which was founded by Countess Albina du Boisrouvray in memory of her son Francois-Xavier Bagnoud.
