Project DescriptionThe duplex elevators in FXB Building service approximately 400 building occupants over the ten floor stops. The existing elevator equipment was manufactured by Northern Elevator Manufacturing of Toronto , Ontario as proprietary equipment and is of 1980's technology. The elevators are beginning to require extended maintenance time ,replacement parts are becoming difficult to aquire , little technical support for the system all contributing to having a single elevator in service for extended time periods. Each elevator car will receive new control systems , energy efficient motors and door mechanism modernization.Related Buildings / Sites
