NotesDuring construction of the Knight Seminar Room in 2003, the Santa Clara Hawk had to be moved to the front yard. Two years later, during a class photo shoot, staff realized it was missing. Cambridge police investigated the disappearance without success. The Foundation commissioned Doug Hyde to create a replacement. The new hawk has stood in its new location since 2007.
