Biography: Bastille & Halsey Associates, a Boston-based architecture firm, was founded in 1953 by Robert Adams Bastille and William Ashbaugh Halsey. Both founding partners studied architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. The firm was active until 1964; when Halsey formed his own firm and Bastille formed a new partnership with Robert Grant Neiley to form Bastille-Neiley.
Biography: Robert Adams Bastille received his undergraduate degree and Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. In 1953 he founded Bastille & Halsey Associates with William Ashbaugh Halsey. In 1963 he was a founding partner of Bastille/Neiley Architects.
