Clarence Howard Blackall

Biographical InformationClarence Howard Blackall was born in New York on February 3, 1857. He studied architecture at the University of Illinois. After receiving his degree in 1877 he went to Paris to study at the École des Beaux-Arts. After completing his studies and moving to Boston Blackall became a draftsman in the firm of Peabody and Stearns. He later started his own practice and entered into a partnership with his firm colleagues in 1915 under the name of Blackall, Clapp, and Whittemore.Related Buildings / SitesReferences
