Ezra Ehrenkrantz

Biographical InformationEzra Ehrenkrantz was a prominent New York based, American architect active during the mid to late Twentieth century. Ehrenkrantz was a partner at Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn Architects as well as the executive director at the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Center for Architecture and Building Science Research until he passed away. During his lifetime, Ehrenkrantz won the Medal of Honor of the American Institute of Architects’ New York Chapter in 1993, and he received the President’s Award of the National Institute of Building Sciences in 1990.
During his active years, Ehrenkrantz designed many types of buildings from residential, to health related to commercial buildings. He contributed to the architecture in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and many other locations.
