George Snell

Biographical InformationGeorge Snell was a Boston-based architect who was born in London, England in 1820. He graduated from King's College in London where he studied mechanics and engineering. After completing his formal studies he worked in the office of Harvey Lonsdale Elmes before immigrating to Boston in 1849. In 1860 he formed a partnership with James R. Gregerson called Snell and Gregerson. The partnership continued until Snell's death in 1893.
