Biographical InformationB.F. Sturtevant Company was founded by Benjamin Franklin Sturtevant (1833-1890) in 1860. The firm was later acquired Westinghouse in 1945. It was then sold to American - Davidson in 1985 and taken over by Howden-Sirocco in 1988 when it was closed. Also known as Sturtevant.
