Biographical InformationJohn Henry Burgee was born in Chicago in 1933. He studied architecture at the University of Notre Dame and received his degree in 1956 he also received an honorary Doctor of Engineering in 1983 from the university. He worked with the firm C.F. Murphy Associates from 1958-1967. In 1967 he formed a partnership, Johnson/Burgee, with Philip Johnson.Related Buildings / Sites
