Biographical InformationPei Cobb Freed & Partners is a New York City based architectural firm founded in 1955 by I. M. Pei, Eason H. Leonard, and Henry N. Cobb. At the time it was known as I. M. Pei & Associates and later changed its name in 1966 to I. M. Pei & Partners. The name was finally changed to Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in 1989.
