Site Name HistoryThe site is named for Andrew Farkas, New York real estate investor and Harvard benefactor. It was previously named the Hasty Pudding Club after the club that occupied the space.Historical NotesFarkas Hall was designed in 1887 as a clubhouse and theater for the Hasty Pudding Club. Harvard acquired the building in 2002 and completed a major renovation in 2007 to create a 274-seat theater. The original plans were drawn by Boston-based Peabody and Stearns; the 2007 renovation by designed by Leers Weinzapfel of Boston.Additional Information
