Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Richard Bryant, a long time friend of the Harvard Forest.Historical NotesThe farm house and 3 outbuildings sit on 8 acres of farmland which was originally a portion of Lot 28 of the Nichewaug Proprietorship in 1733. The land was sold to Jonathan Marble in 1744 and the original house was built.
