Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its address.Historical NotesBuilt by its owner, Isaac Cutler, in 1856, the wooden house was constructed as a modern two-story, 14 room dwelling house. Cutler was a prominent builder and politically active Cantabrigian.

Harvard University purchased the structure in 1929. The property was used for faculty housing.
