Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its location and function.Historical NotesThe Allston Science and Engineering Complex (SEC) is home to a portion of Harvard's John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). Constrution of the building was completed in 2021. SEC was designed by Behnisch Architekten, and has been certified LEED Platinum, making it one of the most sustainable and energy efficient lab buildings in the world. SEC houses faculty in Bioengineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Data Science, and Computational Science and Engineering along with most of SEAS administrative offices.
