His endowment of 1906 provided much of he funding for engineering research at Harvard in the twentieth century.Historical NotesThis building, which is no longer extant, was a large wood-framed storage building built circa World War I. Used by Harvard for many years as a research space the building was razed in 1962 due to concerns about fire hazards. In 2002, after many years as a parking lot, the site was used for the new 60 Oxford Street building.
