Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its address.Historical NotesThere are multiple buildings on this site. The main building on this parcel was constructed for J. Gardner Weld in 1875. He died shortly after the house was completed and the parcel was purchased in order to establish an asylum for people suffering from depression, with funds provided by the estate of Seth Adams, known as the Adams-Nervine Asylum which opened in 1880.Additonal buildings were contructed on the parcel in the late nineteenth century and today they are listed on the National Register of Historic places.
