Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its address.Historical NotesThe building at this address, which was on the corner of Memorial Drive and Sterling Street, was built for Henry O'Sullivan and designed by R.B. Whitten in 1923. The structure was razed for the construction of the Peabody Terrace complex in 1964. While the house is no longer extant other examples of Mr. Witten's designs, like Barrington Court, remain on Memorial Drive.
