Site Name HistoryThe site is named for William P. Wilder, prominent Canadian executive, financier, philanthropist and Harvard Business School benefactor.Historical NotesWilder House is one of the original buildings on the Harvard Business School campus. It was originally called the Students' Club and contained common rooms and a cafeteria. The building was a gift of George Fisher Baker and was designed by McKim Mead and White of New York City and completed in 1926. Today it contains offices for the school.
