Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Sebastien S. Kresge (1867-1966), a pioneering retailer who established the S.S. Kresge Foundation, which funded the building's construction.Historical NotesKresge Hall was designed as a dining hall by the Boston architecture firm of Perry Shaw Hepburn Kehoe and Dean. It was completed in 1953.
