Site Name HistoryThe site is named for Abraham Alfonse Albert Gallatin (1761 – 1849), United States Secretary of the Treasury from 1801 to 1814.Historical NotesGallatin Hall is one of the original buildings on the Harvard Business School campus. It was designed as a residence hall by McKim Mead and White of New York City and completed in 1926. It was funded by a gift of George Fisher Baker.Additional Information
