Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Andrew W. Mellon (LL.D. 1926), a Pittsburgh banker and U.S. Treasury Secretary from 1921 to 1932, through a gift of George Fisher Baker.Historical NotesMellon Hall is one of the original buildings on the Harvard Business School campus. It was designed as a residence hall by McKim Mead and White of New York City and completed in 1926.
