Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Hansjörg Wyss, Swiss entrepreneur and businessman and Harvard benefactor.Historical NotesWyss Hall is one of the original buildings on the Harvard Business School campus. It was designed by McKim Mead and White of New York City and completed in 1926. The building was funded as a gift of George Fisher Baker and originally named Sherman Hall after John Sherman, an Ohio Representative and Senator.
