Site Name HistoryThe site is named for John T.G. Nichols, the original owner in the 1820s.Historical NotesNichols House dates to 1827 and was designed by local builder Oliver Hastings. It originally sat at 63 Brattle Street and was relocated to its current site in 1969. It is occupied by the Graduate School of Education.
