Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Radcliffe alumna Audrey Bruce Currier (A.B. 1956). The donation for the building, Radcliffe's fourth house, was given by Currier's mother, Ailsa Mellon Bruce.Historical NotesCurrier House opened in September of 1970. Each of the four towers in the house complex is named for distinguished Radcliffe alumnae, Mabel Daniels, Mary Caperton Bingham, Helen Homans Gilbert, and Barbara Wertheim Tuchman. Currier House was known as New House during development and construction.
