Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Thomas Dudley Cabot (A.B. 1919) and Virginia Wellington Cabot and for LeBaron Russell Briggs (1855-1934), Radcliffe College’s second president.Historical NotesBriggs Hall was built in 1923, designed by Elwell and Blackall as a residence hall for Radcliffe College. Today it is part of Cabot House, one of Harvard's twelve undergraduate residential communities.
