Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Thomas Dudley Cabot (A.B. 1919) and Virginia Wellington Cabot and for Sarah Wyman Whitman (1842–1904), an artist who created two of the stained glass windows in Memorial Hall and was a member of the Radcliffe Governing Board.Historical NotesWhitman Hall was built in 1911, designed by the Boston firm of Kilham and Hopkins as a residence hall for Radcliffe College. Today it is part of Cabot House, one of Harvard's twelve undergraduate residential communities.Additional Information
