Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its address.Historical NotesThe building on this site was originally constructed as the Angell Memorial Veterinary Hospital in 1914 as a memorial to George Thorndike Angell, the founder of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
