Site Name HistoryThe site is named after its function.Historical NotesThe Concord Field Station is located on a former Nike missile defense base near Bedford, Massachusetts. The station is affiliated with the Museum of Comparative Zoology and the academic department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology.
