Site Name HistoryThe site is named for Reverend Daniel Perkins (A.B. 1717), Reverend Richard Perkins (A.B. 1748) and William Foster Perkins (A.B. 1819), all kin of Catherine Page Perkins, Harvard benefactor.Historical NotesPerkins Hall is a graduate student residence hall designed by Shepley Rutan and Coolidge of Boston and completed in 1895. During World War I the building housed activities related to the United States Naval Radio School, which occupied a portion of Harvard's campus from 1917 to 1919. It was a gift of Catherine P. Perkins.
