Site Name HistoryThe site is named for Clarence Dillon (A.B. 1905), founder of investment bank Dillon, Read & Co., who provided the gift for the construction.Historical NotesDillon Field House was designed by Coolidge Shepley Bulfinch and Abbott and opened in 1931. It was built as a replacement to the old Locker Building, built in 1894, which was destroyed in a fire in 1930. It contains locker rooms and offices for several varsity sports. It was given as a gift by Clarence Dillon (A.B. 1905).
