Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Alexander Harvey Bright, Harvard class of 1919, Olympic skier and Harvard benefactor as well as Kevin Landry, Harvard class of 1966. Prior to 2013, the site was named Bright Hockey Center. The building was previously known as Watson Rink after Donald C. Watson, class of 1916, whose brother John C. Watson, class of 1922, donated $100,000 towards its construction.Historical NotesThe Bright-Landry Hockey Center was expanded to its current size in 1979 based on a design by The Architects Collaborative of Cambridge.
