Site Name HistoryThe site is named after Thomas Dudley Cabot (A.B. 1919) and Virginia Wellington Cabot and for Ella Lyman Cabot (1855-1934), a cousin of Cabot, a member of the Radcliffe Governing Board, and a Radcliffe trustee from 1902 to 1934.Historical NotesCabot Hall was built in 1936, designed by Ames and Dodge as a residence hall for Radcliffe College. Today it is part of Cabot House, one of Harvard's twelve undergraduate residential communities.Additional Information
