Moshe Safdie

Biographical InformationMoshe Safdie is an Israeli/Canadian/American architect born in 1938 in Israel. At a young age, Safdie and his family moved to Canada. In 1961 Safdie graduated McGill University with a degree in architecture. After he received his degree, Safdie apprenticed in Philadelphia and then late opened up his own firm in 1964 upon returning to Canada. Later, in 1970, Safdie also opened a branch of his firm in Jerusalem. Throughout his career, Safdie has contributed to the architecture in many different countries and continents ranging from Israel, to the United States to Singapore and to Canada.Related Buildings / SitesReferences
