Sir Francis Bernard

Biographical InformationSir Francis Bernard was Royal Governor of Massachusetts during the mid-Eighteenth century. He had also previously been the governor of New Jersey. While involved in politics, Bernard also studied architecture and designed Harvard Hall at Harvard Universty.
