William Truman Aldrich

Biographical InformationWilliam Truman Aldrich was a prominent Boston-based architect and artist active during the early Twentieth century. Aldrich was a graduate of MIT and of the Ecole des Beaux-arts in Paris. After returning to the United States he joined the firm of Carrère and Hastings in New York City. In 1910 he moved to Boston and joined Robert Peabody Bellows to form the firm Bellows and Aldrich. Aldrich designed many different buildings including the Rhode Island School of Design Museum and the Worcester Art Museum.
