Site Name HistoryThe site is named after William F. Connell (1938-2001), a Boston area businessman and philanthropist. It was formerly known as Fowler House after Henry H. Fowler, former Secretary of the Treasury of the United States.Historical NotesConnell House was designed by McKim, Mead & White in 1926 but not built, due to funding, until the 1940s. It was completed by Boston architect William T. Aldrich in 1940. It contains offices for Harvard Business School.
