Biographical InformationNBBJ is an international architecture and design firm which was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1943. Floyd Naramore, William J. Bain, Clifton Brady, and Perry Johanson formed a partnership during World War II in order to respond to large federal commissions, including the Bremerton Naval Shipyard. In 1976 the firm merged with Godwin, Nitschke, Bohm and became known as NBBJ.
