Site Name HistoryThe site is named after benefactors Carol K. Pforzheimer (1909-2010) and Carl H. Pforzheimer Jr. (1907-1996) as well as Ada Louise Comstock (1876-1973), president of Radcliffe College from 1923 to 1943.Historical NotesComstock Hall was built in 1958, designed by Boston-based Maginnis, Walsh and Kennedy as a residence hall for Radcliffe College. Today it is part of Pforzheimer House, one of Harvard's twelve undergraduate residential communities.Additional Information
