Biographical InformationThe Boston-based architecture firm Maginnis & Walsh and Kennedy was previously known as Maginnis & Walsh and Maginnis, Walsh, and Sullivan. The firm was active during the first half of the twentieth century. It was founded in 1898 as Maginnis, Walsh and Sullivan by Charles Donagh Maginnis, Timothy Francis Walsh, and Matthew Sullivan. The firm was well known for its ecclesiastical buildings.

In 1906 Matthew Sullivan left the firm and it become known as Maginnis & Walsh. In 1941 Eugene F. Kennedy Jr. Became a senior partner in the firm and the name became known as Maginnis & Walsh and Kennedy. Successor firms include Kennedy & Kennedy.
